NDP 2005

Time had zoomed past me without me knowing.

I am posting my 2nd NDP experience already. NDP05 was held in Padang and its the 40th birthday.

I was so thankful that we are sitting in the green sector. Not choosing the blue sector is such a bloody good choice!

First, its incredibly hot, evening sun shining directly onto the blue sector pple.

Secondly, you can't exactly see the fireworks as a whole, maybe only can check out 3/4 of it. And if unlucky, you could be one of those pple holding an umbrella to take cover from the fireworks. Worse, you can't take the umbrella home.

Thirdly, its a distance from this "road" that allows the showcase of different amazing Mindef vehicles to move pass.

Lastly, Green sector is more happening. Sitting beside Adrian was a couple and the guy brought along a big Spore flag to wave it off. Super cool~! Beside me sits this malay couple, they had been very sporting to join in the dance moves~! Definitely better than those pple sitting and starring blindly ahead.

The celebrations were held in 5 different locations, Tamp, Jurong, Yishun, Marina & Padang. There's really alot of pple joinin the party.. The planes flew past us faster this year (lol), with more "dangerous" and jaw dropping patterns of coz. I am pretty surprised with the funpack this year. Its much more um..... trendy & sleek compared to the previous years.

As usual were the contingent and the very colourful performance. Not forgetting the ever-so-spectacular fireworks... Just simply loves the feeling of being part of a great celebration, where everyone sing to the national songs and the emcees will bring the mood to the highest. It had been a success. At least no terrorist attacks or whatsoever.Heading home was even better. Everyone in a very orderly manner heads to many directions, but no pushing or shouting around.. since there's too many police around to risk it.
