Ytd was a full day out..
Finally at 1245, the ndp tickets are in our hands, $135 out from our savings. we had argued whether to meet $160 at Tamp on Fri or $135 at Outram on Sat. Worrying that the latter could be a cheat out to trick us.. I insisted that we should go for $135, my 6th sense says that she's genuine. Its cheaper since our budget was like $60 from the start, haha, huge jump already..
I sincerely hope that the 40th birthday parade will be a good one, hope it won't rain. As said, even its not good, we gotta pretend that we enjoy ourselves, its one hundread and thirty-five dollars ok.
Hmm, so many exits at Outram MRT, we were lost. But he will know how to get out, he always do his homework before we meet to go somewhere. Hugs.
Then we headed to Carnival@ the Bay. Marina South. It was very hot, the rays can easily burn you. Everything over there is Army, Air Force & Navy. Its like an excursion/revision on guy's army life. The weather is a torture, we were perspiring like hell. It was too much for me to handle. I should have forgo the jeans and wore shorts/shoes instead. Luckily, drinks and food were only a stone throw away..
1) We saw "Darren". I dunno who he was. He tapped me on my shoulder and I turned back to see a face I THINK I saw before.. somewhere. But I still acted surprised and asked him why he's there.. told me he gotta be at Marina for the whole week, whole day. Poor thing. Such hot weather.. but i still can't remember him. *shrug*
2) I saw Iris!! She jumped out from nowhere. It was one of the pleasant surprise of the day!
3) The fireworks were breath-taking! When you thought its over, there are more!
4) It was the end of the fireworks, and thousands of ppl were walking out to catch the Bus ride to the MRT. While pple like me & him attempted to cut the Q, pple from the Q shouted at those that din Q. There was no order at all. Everyone pushing and shouting away. Luckily me and him were standing at the back, so we sort of doesn't look like we're involved in the ugly scene.
5) When we were taking the train back.. There was this lady who rudely asked ppl for the Job Column in the newspaper. She first asked this malay guy, and the guy just ignored her. I was the next victim. I stonely let her took my newspaper away and she browsed to the Jobs Page, took the 2-3 pages out from the newspaper and returned me the rest. Afterwhich I told her, she can have the newspaper.
6) We went Bedok to have dessert. And saw a couple kanna cheated by an Indian guy. He was asking them for money.. toot sia.
7) Looking forward to 9-Aug.
